So, Dale bowled pretty badly in yesterday's ODI against the Poms, which is now a usual thing from him these days (oh dale, what happened to you??) Morne and Parny made up for his poor bowling, by sharing 8 wickets between them though. But thats not gonna work everytime Mr Dale Williem Steyn!! You need to pick your wickets yourself and not run back to the dressing room even before the match is finished with the thought "Oh I rather go and rest now. Morne and Parnell are here to do the job!" Dammit! Before the match started I had HUGE expectations from Dale, because I thought its been pretty long time since he contributed with the ball, But *sigh* he failed again!
More of these performances, and we'll soon see a certain name, Dale Steyn, missing from the playing XI. Mind it oh people of the world!
Tendulkar to go the Ponting way?

We need him in the tests MJ! Unless they give Parnie a spot. Which I think will be a little premature!
ReplyDeleteHe's out of form but is usually better in testsl.
ReplyDeleteI find this blog disturbing. I keep thinking Mitchell Johnaon is writing a blog on the Saffers.
ReplyDeleteVim, Mitchy is a big fan of Mary Jane - he wishes he could write as well as her.
ReplyDeleteActually, he wishes he could write.
MJ, they all bowled pretty badly. I wouldn't go to hard on Steyn - i'm sure he'll play better in the tests.
Haha Thanks for the compliment Vim! No, really. You cant believe how good it feels to know tha my writing resembles the writing of some Aussie cricketer lol :)

Thanks sweets, btw I do agree that I write better than Mitchy :)
And yes, Dale will be back with a bang in Tests. I last heard he is facing hamstring troubles, which also forced him to miss the 4h ODI, Guess that was the reason for his poor bowling.
